Behind the Rocks
| Description: | Now you can see why it's "Behind the Rocks". The area ahead where all the fins are is actually Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study area. It's soon going to be a full fledged Wilderness area. It won't be a problem for 4-wheelers because no trails cut through it right now, but if people keep cutting new trails and enter the WSA they'll likely close the offending parent trails.
The trails that border the WSA are Moab Rim, Pritchett Canyon, and Behind the Rocks. So unless you want to see these trails shut down, STAY ON THE DESIGNATED TRAILS!!! |
